PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOPS 2024

WHO ARE WE?

We (Julie and Samuel) are two Belgian photographers, focusing mainly on nature and landscapes. We were both selected for Young Talent at Canon in 2022 and 2021 respectively. Over the past few years, we've gotten to know each other better via Instagram. We soon discovered that we shared a similar evolution in our photography, inspiration and overall approach. This naturally led us to organize photography workshops in Belgium: focusing on landscape and nature photography in general.

WHY CHOOSING A WORKSHOP WITH US?

A complete package (a theory course before the workshop and an optional Lightroom session to enhance your shots)
An ideal way to improve your photography skills in a relaxed atmosphere
A great reason to spend some time outdoors and (re)discover Belgium
Small groups (max 8 people)
Explanations in French and/or English

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN:

How to compose an image (where to stand, how to observe the scene, how to plan your shot)
Camera settings and their impact on your images (exposure triangle, histogram, focus, etc.)
How to choose the most appropriate lens and focal length for your photos
How to use filters (especially during our autumn workshop)
How to process your images in Adobe Lightroom Classic and create your own style

OUR 2024 WORKSHOPS

SCHEDULE, TIMING AND MEETING POINT
Each workshop has its own timetable (some take place at sunrise, others at sunset or in the evening). A workshop generally lasts 2 hours. If you decide to also purchase the Lightroom session, you will have approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour online with Samuel and/or Julie a few days after the workshop. A meeting point for each workshop will be communicated a few days before the session (during the online introductory session and by e-mail). Car-pooling is always possible and encouraged. All this can be arranged a few days before the workshop.

LANGUAGE
The workshop will be held in English or French, depending on participants' preferences.
Julie can also help in Spanish, and Samuel in Dutch. Everyone is welcome!

HOW SHOULD I DRESS?

Comfortable clothes are always a must! We'll give you our recommendations for each workshop, as they'll be held in very different locations and at different seasons. Comfortable shoes are also essential, as we'll be walking and standing for quite some time.

GEAR

To make the most of the workshop, we strongly recommend that you bring the camera you use to take photos. You can borrow a tripod or filters if necessary. Please let us know in advance so that we can make the necessary arrangements.
